The Langdon Family of Merriott
Earliest Mentions in the Church of England Registers – 17th Century
The Langdon Family were quite well represented in the early Parish Registers of Merriott, but they all but disappeared from the records by the late 1700s. Langdon husband and wife, Mark (born in West Chinnock) and Hannah (nee Lawrence, born in Merriott) were living in Merriott by the time of the 1891 census.
